Reviews
"Lots of books out there, competition high! They will sell though, makes for good read." DC

"Hi Kerry-Ann, it was a good read. I particularly enjoyed the chapter titled "The Wine in the
Cupboard" and the various activities that follow each chapter. It is very stimulating to the mind." PH

“Let every page carry your pain, your passion, your prayer—and your power. And if I can leave you with one thought to carry with you, let it be this: “God didn’t just remove my problems— He helped me understand them and gave me the wisdom to grow through them.” CC

Mr. Stewart Jacobs, President for the National Parent Teachers’ Association, endorsed the book as, “A book that doesn’t just tell a story, but invites us into a vibrant world of imagination, courage, and a deep understanding of the consequences of our choices and actions.”

"Overall, the story was incredibly creative, teaching children new words and widening their vocabulary. The activities were stimulating and gave me a good challenge; from the crossword puzzle to the antonyms and much more. I highly recommend this book as it taught me many life lessons that can contribute to the improvement of my overall development." Aiyanna Davis, Jamaica Library Service Reading Competition National Runner-up 2023.

"Mario's Adventures in Haddington is a great book to me because from the moment I started to read it I was already captivated. It taught me a lot of essential things such as the consequences of not thinking before you do something and I enjoy books that teach important life lessons. Also, I like the type of characters in the book such as Mario." Jordane Clayton, Parish Champion for Hanover in the Jamaica Library Service Reading Competition 2023.

"This book was highly entertaining and showcased very valuable and important life lessons. The plot was engaging with each chapter showcasing a different aspect of living in the Jamaican country setting of Haddington. The activities will help them to build their reading and writing skills." Taevion Morgan, 2023 Gleaner's Children's Own National Spelling Bee Champion.

"Good contextual relevance, appealing too, in an attractive way. Pleasant way of teaching the values. There was so much good in this book for it to be donated to schools and libraries." SC
